The purpose of this project was to allow the human resources department to generate reports to show their employees and contractors current and expired training modules.
This was required to allow team managers to determine what skill resources they had available and who required skills updates and when. Knowing this allowed better scheduling of training.
Another bonus was that it is now easy to determine who has a current specific skill or qualification to replace employees at short notice in case of sickness or other unplanned abscence.
